Marching Band Gets Ready for Upcoming Parade

We’re excited to announce that Marching Band in now coming back together after a long winter to start preparing for the Memorial Day Parade. The band will be playing Patriotic Parade Sequence as they march the streets of Girard on May 29th.

Current, and Graduating members are welcome to come to practice starting on April 20th, from 5pm to 8pm. We will continue to meet every Thursday from 5pm to 8pm until the parade.

All students that are going into 6th Grade at Rice Avenue Middle School and above are welcome to come join our marching band program. If you have never played an instrument we are more than excited to help you learn.

We are also looking for new members to join our Color Guard program. Color Guard helps the Marching Band as a non-musical group that provides a colorful visual to complement the band. We are welcoming anyone who enjoys dance or has interest in learning how to spin flag, or joining our weapon line. Our group works together as a team to complete in local LMBA competitions and we also participate in footballs games, and local parades as well.

It’s never too late to join Marching Band. You can come to our next practice. If you have any questions please reach out to us by email at or by contacting Mr.Staff  by filling out our contact form on the contact page.
